Edward Rhambo took the opening kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown and the Palo Verde football team never trailed in a 33-12 win against Sierra Vista.
On Rhambo’s next touch, he caught an 82-yard touchdown from Davis Whetten.
Paisley Nickelson had a pair of touchdowns for Palo Verde and Donovan Bell scored on a 65-yard scamper in the fourth quarter.
After losing last week, Palo Verde made improvements thanks for more practice time, coach Joe Aznarez said.
