Silverado Defeats Shadow Ridge, 50-29

Brandon Tunnel accounted for three touchdowns and kicked a 36-yard field goal tonight in the Silverado football team’s 32-14 victory against visiting Coronado.

Silverado trailed 14-10 in the second half, but it slowly started to wear down Coronado — especially on the offensive and defensive lines — in closing the scoring with 22 unanswered points.

Tunnell passed for 178 yards and a touchdown, and also carried the ball four times for 75 yards and two scores.

Silverado remains undefeated heading into league play.
