Josh Andrade passed for 220 yards and five touchdowns in leading the Coronado football team to a 62-0 victory against visiting Mojave.

Isaiah Bottley had two touchdown receptions, while Chris Avila scored on a 70-yard screen pass and Jaylen Garrison also had a scoring grab.

Coronado took to the air because “we wanted to make sure we have confidence in the passing game going into next week,” coach Fred Biletnikoff Jr. said of the Cougars’ upcoming game against Shadow Ridge.

Coronado scored two defensive touchdowns, a strip sack in the end zone by Ike Nnakenyi and interception return for a score by Jeremiah Kunitake.

Caden Hunt and Ryder Samuels had rushing touchdowns for the Cougars.
