D’on Williams and Reyes Reynaga were unstoppable on both sides of the ball tonight for the Clark football team in a 30-0 win over Spring Valley in the first round of the class 4A playoffs.
The postseason win is believed to be Clark’s first since the 1990s, coach Deumaine Reeder said.
“This will help the kids buy into the program,” Reeder said. “When I moved to Vegas, I would always hear how Clark was the dominant school, and we want to get back to those days.”
Williams and Reynaga each had a pair of touchdown runs. More important, they anchored the defensive effort in a shutout win, Reeder said.
