Silverado Defeats Shadow Ridge, 50-29

Caden Harris and Marcus Council each had a pair of touchdown runs today for the Silverado football team in a 51-0 victory over Spring Valley in the class 4A state quarterfinals.

Shyne Johnson had his sixth interception of the year to lead the defense, which also received an interception return for a score from Michael Green. Tristan Hudson also had an interception.

Brandon Tunnell passed for 150 yards and a touchdown, hooking up with Donavyn Pellot. Pellot also rushed for a score.

Silverado hosts Coronado next week in the state semifinals. Earlier this season, Silverado beat Coronado 32-14 — its closest margin of victory on the season.
