In addition to reissuing several Nike LeBron models over the last few years, it appears that another one of LeBron James’ signature models is receiving the retro treatment with the rumored return of the Air Zoom Generation.
Per Sneaker Files, King James’ first signature model is returning to sneaker shelves this holiday season. The shoe, originally released in 2003, is reportedly coming back in a new “20th Anniversary” makeup to celebrate the 20-year milestone of James’ signature line. Although images of the purported style have yet to surface, the mockup imagery from the leaker reveals that the shoe will don a white-based color scheme along with commemorative ‘XX’ branding on the ankle collar, while blue hits appear on the outsole.
This isn’t the first time that the Swoosh retroed the Air Zoom Generation as the shoe returned in 2017 including in its original black and red colorway.
As of now, official release details of the “20th Anniversary” Air Zoom Generation have not been announced by Nike. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for new developments including a first look in the coming months.
