Reebok is celebrating one of Allen Iverson’s career best scoring performances by releasing the sneakers he wore when he dropped 54 points in 2001.
In what was supposed to be another regular-season matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Cleveland Cavaliers on January 6, 2001, Iverson had other plans as he torched the Cavs by putting up a career-high 54 points in a 107-104 victory. He did so while wearing this white-and-grey iteration of the Reebok Answer 4, which was an exclusive colorway for Iverson in 2001 but did release in a similar low-top execution.
The shoe features a standard white leather upper and is combined with subtle grey accents on the sides, reflective details on the tongue, and a graphic of Iverson’s arm tattoos printed on the insoles.
Readers will be able to cop this “54 Points” Reebok Answer 4 starting on May 6 at Reebok.com and at select Reebok retailers for $150. Grab an official look below.
