We’ve already learned that Nike has big plans to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Cortez this year, with leaks that have already revealed that partners including Union and Sacai are dropping their own collaborative styles soon. Joining in on the anniversary festivities is Nike SB, which will soon launch a new Cortez-inspired skate shoe.

That pair is the Nike Blue Ribbon SB (BRSB for short), pictured here after official product images of the shoe surfaced. Not only has the silhouette inherited the Cortez’s low-profile design and wavy herringbone outsole, but two of the upcoming drops will be dressed in the OG-styled black and white colorway and the white, red, and blue makeup. Additional details include the use of the brand’s modernized React foam on a drop-in insole which is viewable through a translucent window on the midsole.

Per @NikeSBornothing on Instagram, this Nike BRSB sneaker is expected to release at select Nike SB stockists soon. Grab a closer look at the new model below.
