Ibn Jasper x Converse One Star Collab Release Date May 2022

It’s been three years since Ibn Jasper and Converse dropped their first collaboration together and now, the duo is back with a new sneaker project.

Pictured here is the second collab between the Chicago barber-turned-designer and the footwear brand. The project, dropping this week, is centered around a new version of the classic One Star silhouette that’s said to fuse Ibn Jasper’s affinity for motorsports and skateboarding.

The upper of the Ibn Jasper x Converse One Star features a combination of leather and suede and is combined with a chunky tooling that’s inspired by race cars. The collab is offered in two colorways including a black-based makeup that’s coupled with purple and gold accents and the other dressed in white with red trims on the midsole.

The Ibn Jasper x Converse One Star collab will be released this Friday, May 20 at Converse.com. The sneakers will retail for $150 each.
