Lucas Puig Adidas Puig Indoor Release Date July 2022

It’s been two years since Lucas Puig introduced the Adidas Puig, his third signature shoe with the brand. Now, the French skateboarder has a new version of the shoe dropping this weekend.

Shown here is the Adidas Puig Indoor, which was made out of the skater’s desire for a lighter version of the shoe. Unlike the original version, this pair doubles as a lifestyle and skate shoe. The Adidas Puig Indoor features a premium leather construction on the sail-based upper and is combined with subtle red hits on the sides and heel tab. The shoe also swaps out the initial cupsole with a new vulcanized tooling for improved flexibility and comfort.

“The original Puig is a very technical skate shoe that is also very sharp in a fashion sense. The Puig Indoor is made to be worn every day—skating or not,” Puig said. “My collaboration with Adidas on the design was truly a team effort. This time we focused on the weight to create one of the lightest shoes available for skate. I can’t wait to see how skaters and non-skaters will welcome them.”

Puig’s Adidas Puig Indoor sneaker will release Friday, July 9, at adidas.com/skateboarding and at select Adidas retailers for $80.
