Puma’s timeless Suede sneaker is getting a premium makeover thanks to a new collab with the Japanese clothing brand Nanamica.

Shown here are both iterations of the Nanamica x Puma Suede collab that are scheduled to release next week. For their first project together, Nanamica has dressed the Puma Suede in its signature neutral tones while elevating the silhouette by applying a Gore-Tex fabric on the upper. Co-branding appears on the footbed and Nanamica’s signature logo is stamped on the heel tab.

“For our first collaboration with Nanamica we wanted to create something that would be instantly recognizable as a partnership between both brands,” Ayesha Atlee, Puma’s head of design sportstyle footwear, said. “We decided to leverage the Puma Suede because of its timeless design, mixing it with Nanamica’s neutral swatches and their signature use of Gore-Tex fabric was a must to accomplish our vision.”

The Nanamica x Puma Suede collection will be released on Aug. 27 at Nanamica.com and at Nanamica stores. The sneakers will retail for $150 each.
