Mountain Research x Reebok Beatnik Collab Release Date

Fresh off of dropping a series of Beatnik Moc styles last month, Reebok has tapped Japanese outdoor label Mountain Research for its next Beatnik release.

Shown here is the Mountain Research x Reebok Beatnik collab, which will hit stores starting this week. According to the brand, this new iteration of the popular sandal celebrates Mountain Research founder Setsumasa Kobayashi’s affinity for the outdoors. The shoe dons a simple brown color scheme on the premium leather upper, with embroidered details at the forefoot. Underneath is a rubberized outsole to handle the outdoors.

“Reebok’s Beatnik has an eye-catching center seam and functional strap that, in my view, presents a new generation of sandals,” Kobayashi said. “I am honored to have worked with the Reebok team and have the ability to apply Mountain Research designs to the silhouette.”

The Mountain Research x Reebok Beatnik will be released this Friday, Sept. 23 exclusively at Mountain Research. The sandal will receive a wider release on Sept. 27 at Reebok.com and at select Reebok stockists.
