This year’s 40th anniversary celebration of the classic Nike Air Force 1 continues with a new colorway releasing soon.

Pictured here is the “Bronx Origins” Air Force 1 Low and according to the style’s product description on SNKRS, this pair pays homage to the birth of hip-hop and the inception of the silhouette and how both entities have been linked together ever since. The shoe itself features a white-based leather upper and is offset by denim Swoosh branding on the sides as a nod to “a time when the scratch of a record brought people together.” The shoe also comes with thicker shoelaces as well as “1973” and “1982” lace dubraes as a nod to the birthdates of the music genre and the Air Force 1, respectively.

Readers will be able to cop this “Bronx Origins” Air Force 1 Low starting on Oct. 14 via SNKRS for $150.
