noticed how this video is a metaphor:

first, they started in a room, which they did back then as bedroom producers, humble beginnings.

second, they jam in a bigger space, a warehouse, meaning they played bigger venues and concerts and getting noticed.

third, they on a rooftop with Steve Vai himself in person, showing they've broken the barrier and going further up, and nothing can stop them.

here's to many more amazing stuff from these guys.

I love how the entire beginning is typical Polyphia technical showoff stuff, and then Steve Vai comes in with the sexiest, bendy-est solo of all time. Great stuff.

Tim and Steve don't even need to shred anymore. They're on a different level. They're just exploring new techniques and jamming.

Guitarist of 12 years here, spent the past 5 falling out of love with it more and more. Byproduct of feeling like there wasn't much future for the instrument with the way the industry has been developing. Has been a hard and saddening road.
Now here, with this topping off their most recent 4 singles, I can say with certainty that the fire is back. What a perfect mesh of modern beat-centric Polyphia and the rock roots that gave them their name. Plus the Vai feature… Goosebumps.
Thank you to the boys for reigniting my love for the guitar, the industry, and music as a whole. Can't wait to see what the future has in store.
