Reebok has unveiled its latest sneaker project. This time, the Boston-based athletic brand has joined forces with Japanese clothing label South2 West8 for their first-ever collaboration.

Announced today is the the South2 West8 x Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge, which will hit retail in November. According to the collaborators, their sneaker collab employs technical components and aesthetics that are inspired by the traditional Japanese fly-fishing method, Tenkara. The upper dons green camo as its base and is paired with green overlay panels along with a spiked toe cap. Cushioning the underfoot is a Floatride Fuel midsole and a Vibram lugged outsole.

“We were inspired by a visual of an outdoor field colliding with an urban city and the idea of linking the two,” Kaname Nagaoka, South2 West8’s brand director, said. “South2 West8 holds little interest in designs that are overly sophisticated or high-tech, in favor of those that are athletically functional. In this respect, the Zig design aptly maintains its functionality, while possessing decorative and assertive elements with great visual volume and presence. These characteristics make it a perfect match for South2 West8 wear.”

The South2 West8 x Reebok Zig Kinetica II Edge collab will drop first on Nov. 5 exclusively at South2 West8 stores in Japan before receiving a wider release on Nov. 18 at Reebok.com and at select retailers for $170.
