Albino & Preto x Saucony Shadow 5000 Collab Release Date

Saucony has teamed up with martial arts-focused apparel company Albino & Preto for a new sneaker project coming this week.

For this collab, the sneaker of choice is the classic Saucony Shadow 5000 and the collaborative makeup takes cues from vintage outdoor recreational design combined with Brazilian jiu jitsu-inspired details such as a toebox made of the tatami material used for mats. Albino & Preto’s interpretation of the model features muted grey tones throughout the multi-material upper, and the look is broken up with a multi-colored speckled midsole. 

In addition to the sneakers, this Albino & Preto x Saucony collab will include co-branded training shorts, rashguard and t-shirts.

The Albino & Preto x Saucony collection including the Saucony 5000 will be released on Friday at 11 a.m. PT at albinoandpreto.com, followed by an in-store launch at Atmos New York on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT. Grab a closer look below.
