Reebok has revealed its latest collaboration, which is a new iteration of its women’s focused Club C Geo Mid silhouette designed in partnership with Nicole McLaughlin.

McLaughlin was a designer at the sportswear brand until 2018 before she transitioned to creating upcycled and sustainable fashion pieces under her own accord. Sticking with the upcycle theme, this Nicole McLaughlin x Reebok Club C Geo Mid is inspired by the Reebok Etna Mid model from the ‘90s while elevated with premium materials that’s designed for outdoor exploration. McLaughlin branding also appears on the piping by the ankle collar.

“I dug into my knowledge of the Reebok archive and drew inspiration for these shoes from the 1996 Reebok Etna Mid,” McLaughlin said. “The idea was to take design cues from a forgotten model, apply them to a new silhouette, and upgrade it with modern materials and details such as ripstop nylon and reflective binding. I love the outdoors, hiking, and the trail, so I wanted to bring that into this project.”

Limited pairs of the Nicole McLaughlin x Reebok Club C Geo Mid collab will be dropping exclusively on StockX via DropX on Dec. 5 for $160, with proceeds from the sales benefitting the non-profit Sky High Farms. The shoe will receive a wider release at Reebok.com and at select Reebok retailers starting on Dec. 9.
