The Nike Air Max Scorpion is getting a weather-appropriate makeover just in time for winter.

From a glance, this Air Max Scorpion appears to be just another inline colorway but the product images reveal that the shoe comes with removable gaiters that reaches up to the knees. The shoe itself dons an earth tone palette, with a mixture of brown shades covering the Primeknit upper. Breaking up the look metallic silver Swoosh branding on the sides along with a metallic-esque finish on the upper portions of the Air-cushioned midsole, while a semi-translucent unit appears below.

Despite official imagery of this winter-ready Air Max Scorpion surfacing, the release details of the shoe have yet to be announced by the brand. Given that the standard Air Max Scorpion retails for $250, it’s likely that this gaiter-equipped version will be priced even higher. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for updates in the coming weeks.
