Junya Watanabe x New Balance 1906 & Comme des Garcons x New Balance 1906

In addition to Sacai previewing an upcoming Nike Air Footscape collab, Comme des Garçons-affiliated designer Junya Watanabe also took advantage of Paris Fashion Week by previewing his upcoming sneaker projects.

Spotted in Watanabe’s Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear runway show this past weekend were two collaborative New Balance 650s designed under his namesake label. Both pairs don a black-based makeup and are differentiated by hairy suede or croc-esque overlay panels on the uppers. Each pair features co-branding on the tongue tag, with the first style featuring a grey midsole and the latter in white.

The showing also revealed three upcoming Comme des Garçons Homme x New Balance 1906 collabs, which will be available in white/black and two all-black iterations.

There are no official release details for these New Balance 1906 and 650 collabs available at the time of writing, but we’ll keep you updated with new developments as they become available.
