Bape Sta Ssense Exclusive Release Date January 2023

The ongoing legal dispute between Bape and Nike isn’t stopping the release of Bape Stas—for now. The famed streetwear brand just dropped these two new Bape Sta colorways that are available exclusively at Ssense.

The two Ssense-exclusive Bape Sta styles are available in a yellow, green, and brown color scheme, along with a white and yellow makeup. The first style uses a flat leather construction on the upper, while the latter shoe features a premium patent leather build. On the sides of the midfoot, you can see the familiar star logo, while the heel tab and midsole feature Bape logos.

Nike took legal action on Bape last week, alleging that the design of the Bape Sta infringes on its Air Force 1 sneaker. Additionally, Nike’s complaint also highlighted the similarities between Bape’s Sk8 Sta, and Court Sta shoes the Dunk Low, and the Air Jordan 1, respectively.
