Converse isn’t the only brand that’s commemorating Black History Month in 2023 with special sneakers. There’s also this new Nike Kobe 6 Protro colorway pictured here.

Newly leaked imagery of an unreleased “Black History Month” Nike Kobe 6 Protro has surfaced courtesy of @xavierjones_xci. A first look at the sneaker was first shared by Vanessa Bryant this week. The shoe features a gradient color scheme on the upper that fades from sail to brown while a blue and pink Swoosh appears on the sides. The gradient treatment also makes an appearance on the Zoom Air-cushioned midsole, while a black outsole completes the look.

Nike has used the Kobe 6 to commemorate Black History Month in the past. There was a black and gold “BHM” Nike Kobe 6 that launched in 2011 that dropped alongside a larger footwear collection from Nike Basketball.

At the time of writing, it’s not yet confirmed if this “Black History Month” Kobe 6 Protro will be available to the public. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for official updates.
