Gigi Bryant Nike Kobe 4 Protro ‘Gigi’ May 2023 Release Date

Last year, Nike and Vanessa Bryant agreed to the continuation of the Kobe partnership after their previous contract ended on April 13, 2021. The first drop from the new deal was the special “Mambacita Sweet 16” Kobe 6 Protro, which released on May 1 to celebrate what would have been Bryant’s daughter Gigi’s 16th birthday. Continuing the celebration is this new Kobe 4 release coming soon.

Shown here is a first look at the “Gigi” Nike Kobe 4 Protro courtesy of @kicksdong on Instagram. Much like its Kobe 6 counterpart, this forthcoming pair dons a black and white color scheme that’s expected to be inspired by the Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation’s jerseys. Gigi’s name is embroidered on the heel of the ankle collar, while gold hits adorn the Kobe logo on the tongue and Gigi’s jersey number on the heel counter.

According to @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, this “Gigi” Nike Kobe 4 Protro is expected to release around May 1 for Gigi’s 17th birthday. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for official updates.
