2023 marks the 10-year anniversary since Salomon debuted the XT-6 sneaker and to celebrate, the brand has prepared a special release arriving this month.

Dubbed “10 Years,” this Salomon XT-6 colorway was designed to mirror the original 2013 release and was created in partnership with the silhouette’s original designer, Benjamin Grenet. The shoe dons a tonal red color scheme with contrasting white accents on the heel counter. Salomon also confirmed that the sneaker was produced in limited quantities and each pair is individually numbered.

While the XT-6 was reintroduced in 2018 as a lifestyle shoe, the form it is best known for today, it was originally intended for mountain marathon runs.

“During all the performance life of the shoe, there were only two colorways, one for the soft ground, one for the hard ground” Grenet said. “When we proposed this shoe in the Sportstyle range, everything was possible. You free the same design, you transform it and propose a new vision, to magnify it and propose it in a totally different way.”

This “10 Year” Salomon XT-6 colorway will be released on March 28 at salomon.com for €200.
