Nicole McLaughlin x Vans Slip-On Collab Release Date

In recent years, Nicole McLaughlin has infiltrated both the fashion and footwear worlds through her intricate upcycling projects shared on her social media channels. Taking note of her work is Vans, who has tapped McLaughlin to deliver a pair of collaborative Slip-Ons this week.

Shown here is the Nicole McLaughlin x Vault by Vans Slip-On VP VR3 LX collab in white/green and brown/grey colorways. According to the brand, McLaughlin’s take on the iconic model pays tribute to her love for vintage gardening and workwear totes. The toebox is equipped with large pockets that are designed to hold various gardening materials and work tools. 

“The Vault by Vans NM ‘Gardening Tote’ is a vision I’ve had for a while,” McLaughlin said. “I’ve always loved the Slip-Ons and the traditional canvas upper. The idea of canvas made me think about vintage gardening bags and it inspired me to make my own version, a functional gardening tote Slip-On.”

The Nicole McLaughlin x Vans Slip-On styles will be released on Friday, March 31, at Vans.com and at select Vans retailers.
