Bodega x Vault by Vans Chukka ‘Mid-Top Modern’ Release Date April 2023

Fresh off of releasing a new collab with Hoka One One last month, the Boston-bred sneaker boutique Bodega has now announced its next sneaker project.

Shown here is the “Mid-Top Modern” Bodega x Vault by Vans Chukka collection that’s dropping next week. According to Bodega, this set references when Vans came on the footwear scene during the mid-century time period. The sneaker is dressed in various colors that serve as a nod to the surplus uniforms, clothing, and accessories that went unused post-World War 2.

One version of the project wears a pink-based makeup on the upper and the other pair dons a blue color scheme. Co-branding is stamped on the footbed, with different styled outsoles underneath.

The “Mid-Top Modern” Bodega x Vault by Vans Chukka collection will be released on April 14 at bdgastore.com at 12 p.m. ET. Each pair retails for $115 each.
