It was around this time last year that Breanna Stewart announced she inked an endorsement deal with Puma and months later, the New York Liberty star released her first Stewie 1 signature shoe with the brand. Ahead of this year’s WNBA season, Puma has now unveiled Stewart’s second performance model.

Hitting retailers next week is the Puma Stewie 2 pictured here in the “Ruby” colorway. According to the brand, this all-red makeup is named after Stewart’s daughter and celebrates motherhood. The sneaker is equipped with the brand’s newest tech, starting with a Pwrtape upper providing both durability and support. The midsole features a Nitro-infused foam that’s responsiveness and lightweight, while the outsole provides traction. This iteration also features special flame detailing on the heel and Ruby’s birthday at the sides.

“As I began creating my second signature shoe with Puma, I knew I wanted to name it after my daughter, Ruby,” Stewart said. “Not only to symbolize the incredible bond I share with my daughter, but also to pay homage to the unwavering strength and resilience of mothers everywhere. Being a mother inspires me to be the best version of myself everyday, and I hope wearing the Ruby colorway empowers others to recognize the limitless abilities and spirit within themselves.”

The Puma Stewie 2 will make its retail debut at puma.com and at select Puma retailers on May 19, which also happens to be the same day for the tip off of the 2023 WNBA season. The sneaker and its matching apparel collection will retail from $40 to $125.
