Nike is no stranger to collaborating with fictional places and people. Just last year, the Swoosh partnered up with the Creed movie franchise on an Adonis Creed collection, and the Back to the Future Nike Mags continue to be the grail of every sneaker collector. Now, the brand has teamed up with Netflix’s blockbuster series Stranger Things on a range of footwear and apparel. And while the show might be make-believe, the sneakers are very real—and uncommonly stylish.

Taking place in the (fictional) small town of Hawkins, Indiana during the 1980s, the show is itself chock-full of vintage sneakers and retro graphic tees—and Nike obviously got the memo. The collaborative collection highlights three of the Swoosh’s most beloved silhouettes: the Cortez, Blazer, and Tailwind. During the ‘80s, the sporting world was undergoing a bit of an aesthetic reinvention, with athletic footwear becoming more style-forward by the year. All three of these Nike styles helped to lead that charge.

The first drop of the capsule incorporates the local high school’s color scheme (green and orange) and Tiger mascot, while a second drop carries a very summer-friendly red, white, and blue color scheme. Rounding out the collection is a variety of T-shirts, hoodies, and sweat pants that look just like the type of wares that would have been issued by your phys-ed class. The collection has a little bit of everything for everyone: fans of Stranger Things, classic sneakers, and retro athleticwear will each find something to love here.

Whether it was coincidence or corporate synergy, the three Nike sneakers featured in this collection just happen to be red-hot amongst sneaker fans these days. The Tailwind has found legions of new fans thanks to its vintage runner design, the high-top Blazer continues to soar in popularity, and the Cortez (a.k.a. The George Costanza 1) has been a sneakerhead favorite for years. So, even if you don’t know the first thing about life in Hawkins, chances are that you’ll still love at least one of these sneakers.
