Whether you know him for his eyebrow-raising days as one of the faces of WWE’s Attitude Era, or a leading man in countless blockbuster films, there is no denying that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson puts in absolutely ridiculous hours at the gym. That’s why it made perfect sense when Under Armour released his very own signature training sneaker last Memorial Day. Fast forward a little over a year later, and the Brahma Bull’s Project Rock collection with the Maryland-based sportswear brand continues with the PR2.

Taking some design cues from the brand’s HOVR Phantom runner, the PR2 is the first training shoe to feature Under Armour’s HOVR cushioning system. Other performance details include a knit upper with an elastic ankle collar for a snug fit, reinforced midfoot overlays for added support and durability, an external heel counter for stability, lace webbings 15 times stronger than steel, and a Tribase outsole tread to promote natural flexibility of the foot.

“When you’re making a training shoe with Dwayne, it needs to be state of the art,” said Under Armour Senior Footwear Designer, Men’s Training, Donnie Stiff.

Cosmetically, the PR2 sports a bright Blood Orange upper, navy blue accents on the tongue tab and laces, a white heel counter, and a grey midsole. The entertainer’s signature Brahma Bull logo also makes multiple appearance on the tongue tab and lateral heel in gold. A motivational message of “Blood. Sweat. Respect.” on the medial heel completes the truck-like trainer.

“These PR2s are completely unique and unlike anything else out there. After I recognized the comfort and stability HOVR provides, I wanted to create the first-ever training shoe that incorporates that technology to support the toughest workouts on the planet. These shoes were born in the Iron Paradise and will let you step into the gym and break through whatever goals you’ve set for yourself. Happy training,” Johnson told Sole Collector.

The Under Armour Project Rock PR2 is available now in sizes for the whole family via Under Armour stores, ua.com, and other select retailers for $140 ($120 in kid’s sizing) alongside a new collection of matching apparel. Check out detailed shots of the pair below.
