PUMA is once again taking cues from its ’90s sneaker catalog for a brand new silhouette: the LQDCELL “Optic”
This nostalgic runner represents the latest renovation to the brand’s CELL cushioning system. LQDCELL features hexagonal cells that work together with ProFoam to provide a stable and comfortable cushioning setup—ideal for all-day wear. The retro-inspired upper has also been revamped. It’s built with semi-translucent materials, as well as a fully translucent Formstripe overlay on each side panel, hearkening back to the colors (and style) of the ’90s.
The vibrant LQDCELL “Optic” colorway boasts orange, blue, green, and yellow hits throughout. Finishing touches include a pull tab at the heel, wings at the midfoot for extra lockdown, and PUMA logos on the lateral side panel and tongue. Its lightweight upper sits atop a chunky white midsole with a bright yellow window that makes the LQDCELL cushioning technology visible at the heel.
