For this week’s episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping, host Joe La Puma is joined at Stadium Goods by popular tech YouTuber, Marques Brownlee.
Throughout the interview, Brownlee discusses being a big fan of the Air Jordan 1, interviewing Kobe Bryant to help launch the Nike Kobe 11, helping Under Armour debut the Curry 5, the Nike Adapt BB, and more.
“It’s impressive they are actually wearing [the Nike Adapt BB] on the court now. Two generations in, I’m sure they are still working on shrinking the amount of batteries you need, the size of the motors, and mostly the weight. If you talk to any athlete, the weight is important,” says Brownlee. “The fact that the tech has gotten this good this fast is a testament to how hard they are actually working on it. It’s not just marketing anymore.”
