Adidas is taking a look back at its archive of ZX runners from the ’80s for the upcoming “30 Years of Torsion” collection.

The pack consists of four silhouettes: the ZX 5000, ZX 6000, ZX 7000, and ZX 9000. Each low-top is being reissued in its OG color scheme. The common feature across the lineup is the use of Torsion technology in the midsole, a TPU arch that bridges the forefoot and heel.

Each is kept true to the styling of its OG predecessor down to the materials used. The different color palette of each pair represents different performance capabilities: blue for cushioning, green for guidance, and yellow for support. Updates on the 2019 releases include new jewel lace locks, and special branding on each insole.

Expect the “30 Years of Torsion” quartet to release at adidas.com and other select retailers across the month of August: ZX 5000 (Aug. 10), ZX 6000 (Aug. 17), ZX 7000 (Aug. 24), and ZX 9000 (Aug. 31). Take a closer look at each pair below.
