Tekashi 6ix9ine and 50 Cent

6ix9ine’s relationship with 50 Cent was never the same.

The one-time friends and collaborators had a fallout after Tekashi agreed to cooperate with prosecutors in his federal racketeering case. During a recent Clubhouse chat, 6ix9ine opened up about his strained relationship with the “Power” mogul. According to Tekashi, he hasn’t spoken to Fif in over two years.

“Nah, I never talk to him,” revealed 6ix9ine. “The last time I talked to 50, he tried to get me a lawyer while I was locked up. That’s the last time I ever communicated with him.”

After 6ix9ine snitched on his former gang members while on trial, 50 distanced himself from the controversial rapper. “He’s his mother’s child now,” 50 told “The Breakfast Club” in Sept. 2019. “After you do shit like that, you your mother’s child. Don’t call me.”

50 also ruled out any chance of reconciliation. “I wouldn’t work with him. What it is, is it’s just against the way I grew up,” 50 told Big Boy of his “Get the Strap” collaborator.

While he may have cut ties with Tekashi, 50 has taken DaBaby under his wing. In the wake of the controversy surrounding his Rolling Loud performance, 50 shared his support for the troubled MC, saying he will bounce back. “As long as he keeps his consistency with the music. Remember they canceled Chris Brown like five, six times?” he told E!’s “Nightly Pop.”
