Matthew Gallegos passed for a pair of touchdowns and rushed for another to help the Eldorado football team beat Western, 22-12.
It was the Sundevils’ first win of the season.
Dangelo Moore and Xavier Delgado had touchdown receptions for the Sundevils, who returned to competition after two weeks because of COVID restrictions. Eldorado only had one practice to prepare for Western.
“A lot of our kids have never won a varsity football game. It feels great for them; it also feels great for me,” said coach BJ Jackson, who secured his first win as the Eldorado coach.
