New Balance Kawhi II ‘Goosebumps’ Release Date April 2022

After making its retail debut in the “New Money” colorway last month, the next release of the New Balance Kawhi II continues this month with this “Goosebumps” makeup shown here.

Per New Balance, this colorful iteration of Leonard’s current signature shoe references R.L. Stein’s Goosebumps, which is his favorite book series as a child. The shoe wears a black-based upper that’s coupled with orange and green hits that are inspired by slime. Additionally, there are also ghoulish graphics on the shoe that calls back to specific moments from the series.

Joining the sneaker is a set of t-shirts that feature Goosebumps artwork on the back.

“One of the most exciting things about working with the New Balance design team is that they give me creative freedom,” Leonard said. “Goosebumps was one of my favorite books growing up, so to see that on my own shoe is awesome. I can’t wait to see people in this shoe.”  

This “Goosebumps” New Balance Kawhi II will be released on April 22 exclusively at Footlocker.com, and at Foot Locker and Champs Sports stores. The shoe will retail for $160.
