Nike KD 15 ‘Aunt Pearl’ First Look Release Date 2022

Kevin Durant’s yearly tradition of honoring his late Aunt Pearl continues with this pink-based colorway of his current signature shoe, the Nike KD 15.

Newly leaked imagery of the “Aunt Pearl” KD 15 surfaced this week courtesy of @Kicksdong. The shoe wears a pink-based scheme and incorporates plenty of details to commemorate his late aunt, as seen with the embroidery on the heel’s pull tab, a pearl-inspired graphic on the outsole, and a special message behind the tongue.

Durant began honoring his late Aunt Pearl, who bravely battled cancer before passing in 2000, with the KD 4. Since then, a pink and white colorway of Durant’s signature sneaker has been released to celebrate the woman who played a large role in his upbringing.
