Carhartt WIP x New Balance 990v1 Release Date Sept. 2022

New Balance keeps the collaborations coming this month by joining forces with Carhartt WIP to deliver their first-ever sneaker and apparel collection.

The workwear company has decided to give the classic 990v1 model for its first go-around with the Boston-based company. According to New Balance, the sneaker references the sculpture centers found across various neighborhood gyms across the States. The result is the sneaker seen below, which dons a combination of gray and dark blue hues.

In addition to the sneaker, the brands continue to expand on the project’s theme with the accompanying Carhartt WIP Arcan jacket, co-branded graphic t-shirts, and accessories, including a reversible beanie, towel, and a water bottle.

The Carhartt WIP x New Balance collection will be released on Sept. 16 at carhartt-wip.com, newbalance.com, and at select retailers. The shoe will retail for $190. Grab a closer look at the pieces from the capsule below.
