LQQK Studio x Reebok Classic Leather Collab Release Date

Reebok is back with a new sneaker project, this time tapping Brooklyn-based design creative collective LQQK Studio to deliver a new set of its iconic Classic Leather silhouette.

Shown here are two iterations of the LQQK Studio x Reebok Classic Leather, which is the first ever collab between the sportswear brand and the collective. According to Reebok, LQQK Studio reflected on its deep roots in street culture, art, and fashion for this project, which resulted in two camo-covered colorways dubbed “Bubble Gum” and “Green Camo.” The sneakers also feature LQQK Studio branding on the tongue, the lateral side panel. and heel tab.

“Reebok is a classic brand that holds a special place in a lot of people’s hearts,” Alex Dondero, LQQK Studio’s founder, said. “I think streetwear functions in a funny way that creates a uniform that people subconsciously fall into, so it’s important to constantly evolve, and Reebok is willing to embrace that. When we designed this shoe, we wanted a printed pattern to be the main focus.”

Both iterations of the LQQK Studio x Reebok Classic Leather collab will be released this Friday, Sept. 16 exclusively at Lqqkstudio.com, followed by a global release of the “Green Camo” colorway on Sept. 21 at Reebok.com and at select Reebok retailers. The sneakers will retail for $120 each.
