Nigel Sylvester x Nike Air Ship Collab Release Date 2023

In addition to previewing a possible new Air Jordan 1 High collab in October, Nigel Sylvester and Jordan Brand are joining forces again for another sneaker project.

The BMX pro just teased what appears to be an upcoming Nike Air Ship collab on Instagram via the post below. The brief look at the project shows that the traditional “Nike Air” branding on the heel has been replaced with “Bike Air” as a reference to his BMX lifestyle. The rest of the shoe appears to don a white leather upper, with hairy suede overlay panels in light blue.

Back in 2020, Jordan Brand brought back the Nike Air Ship as part of a two-shoe “New Beginnings” pack after the sneaker has been shelved for nearly 40 years. The Air Ship was worn by Michael Jordan early in his rookie season prior to the introduction of the Air Jordan 1.
