After releasing his multi-shoe “Performance Art” 993 collection in October, Joe Freshgoods posted a photo that showcased all his New Balance collabs on his Instagram story with the caption “end of an era.” The post caused many to believe that the sneaker projects between the Chicago designer and the Boston-based sportswear brand were coming to an end, but it turns out it was only the end of that color palette phase.

Joe Freshgoods posted a first look on Instagram yesterday of his “Beneath the Surface” New Balance collection, which features two new colorways of the 610 as well as a Rainier boot. According to the designer, the silhouettes don a camo print he created throughout the entirety of the uppers, while special “JFG” branding appears on the tongue tags.

At the time of writing, this Joe Freshgoods x New Balance “Beneath the Surface” collection is expected to release sometime in April, but a specific date has yet to be announced. Keep it locked to Sole Collector for official updates.
