One of the most coveted sneaker collabs between the late Virgil Abloh and Nike thus far is their Off-White Dunk Lows designed in collaboration with legendary graphic artist Futura. The sneaker was previewed in 2019 as part of Off-White’s 2020 Spring/Summer “PLASTIC” collection and is not expected to release to the public.
Today, the Virgil Abloh Foundation, Nike and Futura have announced they are partnering with Sotheby’s to auction off eight pairs of the ultra-rare “FL x OW” Dunk Lows, marking the first time that sneaker fans are able to own a pair of this collab.
The “FL x OW” Nike Dunk Lows are being auctioned off in two colorways, with one pair dressed in a blue-based makeup and the other in a orange and blue color scheme. Futura’s signature graphics are applied to the underlays, while additional “FL” and “Futura” branding appears on the heel counter and outsole, respectively.
Fans will be able to place a bid for one of the eight “FL x OW” Nike Dunk Lows from April 5 to April 14 at sothebys.com. The proceeds from the auction will benefit the Virgil Abloh Foundation.
