New Balance’s Numeric skateboarding division has joined forces with lifestyle brand Rone for a new sneaker collab.

For the project, Rone has applied its premium craftsmanship to the New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010, a ‘90s-inspired silhouette designed for pro skater Tiago Lemos. Rone’s version of the silhouette features a premium white leather upper, with the “N” logo in grey on the sides. Rone branding is stamped on the heel counter and also appears on the shoe’s dubrae at the forefoot. Completing the look is a sail FuelCell-cushioned midsole.

Rone was founded by pro skateboarder Tony Ferguson who uses his brand to bring a unique perspective on skate and street culture through style and quality in its products.

“I’ve been wearing New Balance forever, and Tiago is one of my favorite skaters, so this project is very special to me. Tiago’s raw talent, power, and style is reminiscent of the ‘90s but with next-level pop,” Ferguson said. “You can tell that he’s inspired by, and is paying homage to, that era while also pushing skating forward. This collaboration feels like a perfect encapsulation of the past, present, and future.”

The Rone x New Balance Tiago Lemos 1010 collab will be released on Thursday, April 27, at ronebrand.com and at select New Balance retailers on May 1. The shoe will retail for $180.
