Void is the metaphorical representation of one being trapped within their own enclosure of anxiety.
0:27 – No one can understand or relate to your insecurities, leaving you lonely to languish. To judge yourself of these insecurities for being so different and "unsolvable".
0:38 – The stigma of societal perfection. It has been so, that many are molding themselves to peer pressure from people, putting expectations of being able to control and coordinate your feelings without fail, all the time.
0:58 – I interpreted this as telling someone off because of their cliché suggestions and reassurances. It comes off as hollow and isn't really grasping the totality of their self-hatred.
1:07 – Suicidal thoughts from successive blows to their self-esteem. Its cumulative weight starts making them sink further down, maybe into literal Hell, or a spiraling cascade of mental agony which is a facsimile of Hell (I support this idea more).
1:16 – Attempts to break free of their cage in any way they can. Usually by shutting off all connections from others as a form of isolation (self-handling), "putting them on mute". Although their desperation renders their attempts futile (in the sense that they have zero backup options), getting reabsorbed back into loneliness ("The void ate me").
1:27 – Their previous failures lead to shrinking opportunity. It becomes harder to reverse the damage, either self-inflicted or from someone else. The gun may symbolize a weapon that can mutually destroy the person and their cage, effectively freeing them, but at the cost of their life (essentially making their motivation for freedom obsolete (?) or not).
2:04 – Lacking the access to the outside world. If they are unable to exit their minds, they are unable to ever getting close to interacting outside. The tone at which they say ("So strange") leads me to believe they treat it like a minor inconvenience, possibly desensitized and overwhelmed.
