In Air Jordan lore, “Frozen Moments” typically refers to the 1997 television ad produced in association with the launch of the Air Jordan 12. However, another Jordan model will inherit the nickname this fall, when the “Frozen Moments” Air Jordan 4 makes its debut.
The grey-based sneaker references another ‘Frozen Moment’ in the legendary career of Michael Jordan—his series-clincher, dubbed “The Shot,” against the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 1989 Playoffs. Featuring a premium build, primarily in grey, the shoe is highlighted by a patent leather toe overlay and chrome hardware. White and grey share the midsole and outsole to cap off the new colorway.
Price at $225, the “Frozen Moments” Air Jordan 4 is expected to release in women’s sizing on Saturday, Aug. 26. Keep an eye on our Sneaker Release Dates for updates.
