This song is pure gold, I hope it will become a standard and reach the mainstream. I must have watched it 10 times since yesterday, just watched it with my wife who's not really into country but she still liked it. It is so poetic and full of hope, and the best message for today's youth, or everyone really, that happiness is as simple as meeting someone, starting a family, and repeating this as we've been doing it for thousand of years. I've seen my 2 girls grow, one is in full blown teenagers mode, the other one almost there. And I want them to continue on that path, the one my parents and my grand parents put me in. Thanks so much.

This song is amazing, it alone should make you famous. It stirs the old pot, I can tell you that. I'm a songwriter and lyricist (I won't say poet because I'm no Edgar Allen Poe, lol) and I'm truly impressed by these lyrics! I'm trying to think of a manly way of saying, this song tore my heart out. I'm 66 years old, I don't shed many tears anymore. But, "Next Thing You Know" had them flowing. Just awesome!!
