The UNLV football team has a late addition to its 2024 schedule and will host Syracuse on Oct. 5 at Allegiant Stadium, UNLV announced today.
Syracuse replaces Army, which had to back out of its date with UNLV because of a scheduling conflict brought on by joining a new conference, UNLV said. That game was supposed to be played Oct. 19.
“We look forward to hosting Syracuse, which is a national brand rich in tradition,” Athletic Director Erick Harper said in a statement.
“Our 2024 home schedule, which also includes such teams as Boise State and UNR, promises to be very attractive to our fans as we look to continue the tremendous momentum built under Coach Odom last season,” he said.
UNLV is coming off a nine-win season that resulted in an appearance in the Mountain West title game and a bowl game berth.
