Atmos and Adidas are old pals. And to celebrate the Japanese retailer’s newest flagship in Tokyo, the German sportswear stalwart came correct with the Atmos x Adidas Gazelle 85 ‘Patchwork.’ Despite a partnership that spans almost two decades, this might just be the best collaboration between the two sneaker world giants yet.

Taking on the Gazelle 85 (a slightly updated version of the ’60s silhouette), the upper is covered in brown, gray, and yellow panels of premium leather and suede. It’s like a very luxe version of your grandma’s fave quilt. Beige nubuck features on the toebox and lacing system, while contrasting white stripes glide across the lateral and medial sidewalls—in case you needed a reminder that this is, indeed, an Adidas sneaker.

The tongue and inner lining are both colored in navy, and the legendary Trefoil logo is stamped on the former in metallic gold. The uppers are wildly different from the OG Gazelle, but still sit atop that classic gum rubber midsole. Heritage is important!
