On the verge of A/C season, the hour is nigh to start frantically Googling Airbnbs with pools so you don’t have to keep hitting up your one friend with a nice backyard when summer Fridays roll around. And despite the rarified veneer of renting a property with a swanky pool area, booking a vacation rental with all the outdoor perks doesn’t necessarily mean stretching your budget beyond your means.

Airbnbs with private pools don’t have to be flashy—though some certainly are—and to prove it, we surfaced some primo sub-$300-a-night gems that include large infinity pools or smaller plunge pools for your browsing pleasure. It’s also important to note that nearly all Airbnb pools are heated or can be at an additional cost, when the temperatures start to sink. There are even homes with completely indoor pools for taking a dip any day of the year.

Whether you’re bro-ing out with friends, taking the kids on the road, or planning something vaguely romantic with a significant other, there are plenty of Airbnbs with pools at your disposal, from swanky villas in Jamaica to humble beach houses in New York and South Carolina. Or, maybe you’re looking to go off-book with a desert retreat in Joshua Tree (namaste), and perhaps experience some altitude in the mountains by San Miguel de Allende. No matter where you’re traveling this summer, there are plenty of Airbnbs with pools to keep you living más and staying cool. Below, some of our absolute favorites.

Rustic Mountain Retreat in Malibu, California

It’s not often that you get to step right into a dream without falling asleep first, but here we are. This Airbnb not only offers a rustic pool enclosed by stone walls, but guests also have free reign to gather fruit from the property’s orchard. It’s not entirely unlike settling into a seat in a vineyard restaurant hidden in the Italian hills. With its two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it’s a great spot for a couple looking to cut themselves off from the world for a bit or a small group who wants to make the most of the sunken living room and its stacked pillow situation. Oh, and, there’s a good chance you might run into the owner’s Pyrenees-St. Bernard mix, Ozzy, on the property. If you do, please give him our best.

Casa Hezbo in Puerto In Escondido, Mexico

Straight from the brain of French architect Ludwig Godefroy, this two-bedroom home is a short gander from the beach. But you really shouldn’t feel bad if you don’t spend a ton of time sunbathing on the sand. Instead, retreat to the pool, a semi-shaded work of art that looks straight out of a Denis Villaneuve movie. The open-air property is full of nooks and crannies for recharging, the deep kind of relaxation that can only be achieved in a hammock slightly swaying in the breeze or sprawled across a lounge chair overlooking the pool. But the interiors—if you can even call them that, there’s no space that lays untouched by the salty sea air—are not to be overshadowed. In the bedrooms, you’ll feel like you’re sleeping among futuristic jungle ruins, with light splashing in from the many cutout windows on the property.

The Wave Twin Villa In Kathisma Beach, Greece

When you think of Greece, its pristine beaches likely come to mind. But brace yourself before digging into this property because it’ll expand your horizons. The infinity pool here overlooks the ever-popular Kathisma Beach (just a five-minute stroll away), setting the scene for the most epic sunrise or sunset views that have ever graced your feed. When you’re ready to get some shut-eye after OD’ing on sunlight, there’s one bedroom with a massive sliding door overlooking the sea so you can let the breeze in. The living space got the indoor-outdoor living memo, as well, meaning you can go from getting lost in that book that’s been sitting on your shelf for years to spontaneous skinny dipping in about 10 seconds.

An epic home with a pool in Fire Island is a rom-com worthy setting in itself, but this ‘60s-era, three-bedroom Pyramid Home (heavy on views and sunlight) is really the star of the show. Book a couple nights under its soaring eaves, and you’ll not only wake up to sweeping scenes from the dunes—with the ocean air as natural A/C—but also fall asleep amidst soothing rustic wood walls. Between a spacious living area kitted out with its own fireplace, a calming blue kitchen that’s got the space to serve guests, and private office for on-the-fly Zooms, you’ll be well-taken care of for a week of business and pleasure. Outside, the main attraction is the giant saltwater pool which is flanked by three cabanas that host two additional bedrooms and a bathroom. It’s also equipped with an outdoor kitchen and fridge for pouring yourself another cold one and settling back into the hot tub. When the beach calls your name, mosey out to the isolated dunescape that’s within walking distance of your home and plant your umbrella.
