The Bishop Gorman football team extended its shutout streak to five games on Friday night with a 59-0 win over host Foothill.
Not giving up a point since Sept. 17 is a total team effort, coach Brent Browner stressed. After all, he’s emptying the bench in the second half of games, meaning reserves are equally responsible for the feat as the program’s notable first-stringers.
“We are playing a lot of kids, so we are focused on getting every kid prepared on the roster,” Browner said.
Micah Alejado had three passing touchdowns and one rushing score to lead the offense, hooking up with Zachariah Branch, Elija Lofton and Maleik Pabon for scores. Rushing touchdowns were had by William Stallings Jr., Micah Kaapana and Bubba Proctor.
Jayden Ogden had a fumble return for a score.
