While Converse has released special styles with Nike for Black History Month in years past, the brand is switching things up for the annual celebration in 2023.

Converse, the subsidiary brand of the Swoosh, has released its own “Black Joy” collection yesterday in celebration of Black History Month this year. The set includes new iterations of the Run Star Motion CX and the Chuck Taylor All Star. The collection also includes the introduction of the Chuck Taylor All Star Construct, which is the new silhouette in the Chuck Taylor line inspired by ‘80s court shoes. According to the brand, the collection highlights “the healing, freedom and joy found by immersing oneself in nature.”

The capsule also includes matching apparel ranging from t-shirts, hoodies, and a women’s crewneck pullover.

Converse’s “Black Joy” sneaker and apparel collection is available now at Converse.com Prices for the sneakers range from $80 to $135.
